Round Vinyl Sticker - D and C 73:6
The Scripture
Doctrine and Covenants 73:6: “Now I give no more unto you at this time. Gird up your loins and be sober. Even so. Amen.”
Why It Matters
The Lord closed this revelation to Joseph Smith and Sidney Rigdon with a call to readiness. To gird up your loins is to prepare for work, and to be sober is to be clear-minded and steady. After receiving direction, the disciples are expected to act—to take up the work with discipline and self-control.
