Round Vinyl Sticker - D and C 111:11
The Scripture
Doctrine and Covenants 111:11: “Therefore, be ye as wise as serpents and yet without sin; and I will order all things for your good, as fast as ye are able to receive them. Amen.”
Why It Matters
Joseph Smith went to Salem, Massachusetts, seeking money to pay the Church’s debts, but the Lord told him to be wise as a serpent and without sin, promising that He would order all things for his good. The promise was not that every desire would be granted, but that the Lord would arrange circumstances for our benefit as fast as we are able to receive them. This verse teaches trust in God’s timing and His care for our temporal and spiritual welfare.
