Round Vinyl Sticker - D and C 98:1
The Scripture
Doctrine and Covenants 98:1: “Verily I say unto you my friends, fear not, let your hearts be comforted; yea, rejoice evermore, and in everything give thanks.”
Why It Matters
The Lord gave this commandment to the Saints in Missouri while they were being driven from their homes and suffering persecution. Even in affliction, they were told to rejoice and give thanks—not because their circumstances were good, but because God was with them and their prayers had been heard. Gratitude in hardship is an act of trust that God is working all things for our good.
