Round Vinyl Sticker - John 5:39
The Scripture
John 5:39: “Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.”
Why It Matters
The scriptures are not an end in themselves—they point us to Christ. President Gordon B. Hinckley taught that reading the words of scripture brings “an understanding and a warmth that will be pleasing to experience,” and that the Lord’s words come with a quiet conviction that makes the words of His critics meaningless . As we search the scriptures, we come unto the Savior and find the eternal life they testify of.
